The brain behind the idea comes from Darius Williams. He started cooking early in life and was inspired by his grandmother. His philosophy around food is simple – it’s gotta be easy and delicious. After all, food is his life and life is his food!
Darius, knows as @DariusCooks on social media, started his food empire by creating his popular food blog, DariusCooks.TV. He shares recipes weekly with his followers all over social media. As they try all of his new creations, he shares their posts. His success in branding himself allowed him to write and release his first cookbook, Stories From My Grandmother’s Kitchen in 2015. Since then, he’s released two more, “101 Recipes for Your Holiday Table” and “Vegan, But With Soul. A branding and marketing virtuoso, Darius constantly builds his online fan base using social media.
Having a love for both seafood and soul food, Darius decided to open Soul Crab in 2018. It’s a fun place with great music and great food. There’s also a full bar with great cocktails. Food lovers from all over gravitate toward fan faves like Jerk Lobster Tails, Crab & Shrimp Over Grits, Hennessy Peach Cobbler, and our ever popular Catfish Fingers with Lemon Pepper Aioli.
